Hidden in sweet flesh
A hard stone
which is not a stone
hidden in the stone
A seed
Zygote for a future tree
Disguised by a seductive present
Of sweet and juicy flesh
And this is just to say
It isn’t just a stone,
You should plant it
Not throw it away

    • “The Riddle of the Drupe” is the next Indiana Jones movie. Seriously, though I was thinking about that– but it doesn’t really use different forms, or even meanings of the words, just different perceptions or connotations. But the repetition aspect was definitely on my mind when I was crafting it.
