It’s snowing again.
Thirteen days in a row
And not one without snow

It’s melted a little
But the walkways are still canyons
And it’s snowing again
November was snow-free, December
And January, but this month-no
Not one day without snow

It looks like a couple more inches
But we won’t know til it stops
Because it’s snowing, again, and the snow
Is still coming down
It’s pretty I guess, but a solid two weeks
And not a day without snow
It hardly matters this year, I know
When there’s no place to go
But how can it be coming down again

Thirteen days in a row
And not one without snow

Every Snowfall 2020-21 #22, couple of inches, still snowing
Plague series #52

  1. I remember days like this when I lived in Buffalo – endless white that allows no excuse for pausing daily routines that go on, regardless of cold or inconvenience, and days that seem endless in the long wait for spring.

    • I’m just looking out the window at the start of the 14″ they’re predicting for today and tomorrow. Sigh (but–I’ll get a couple more poems out of it!)
